MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SERRANO WATER DISTRICT
The Board of Directors of the Serrano Water District met in a special board meeting on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. The meeting was held at the District Office located at 18021 Lincoln Street, Villa Park, California.
CALL TO ORDER: President Bryant called the meeting to order at 8:32 a.m.

VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF DIRECTOR OF DIVISION 1 OF THE DISTRICT
Following discussion led by Attorney Kuperberg, it was moved (Director Pharris), seconded (Director Mills), and unanimously carried to declare the office of Director of Division 1 of the District vacant by reason of the death of Director Rich Freschi, and authorize and direct District staff to post and transmit notices of the vacancy as required by law.
Following discussion led by Attorney Kuperberg, it was moved (Director Pharris), seconded (Director Haight), and unanimously carried to hold a Special Board Meeting on Thursday, April 27th at 8:30 a.m. Resumes must be turned in by Monday, April 17th at 3:00 p.m. to the General Manager and will be distributed to the Board of Directors in advance.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was formally adjourned at 8:55 a.m. in memory of Director Richard Freschi. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 @ 8:30 a.m. at the District office.
