MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SERRANO WATER DISTRICT
The Board of Directors of the Serrano Water District met in a regularly scheduled board meeting on Tuesday, June 9, 2015. The meeting was held at the District Office located at 18021 Lincoln Street, Villa Park, California.
CALL TO ORDER: President Pharris called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.

PUBLIC COMMENT
Mr. Moffat complimented staff on how they have handled the drought situation.
BOARD MINUTES
Consideration of Serrano Water District Board Meeting minutes of May 13, 2015. Director Rickerl moved that the minutes of the May 13, 2015 meeting be approved as amended, Director Haight seconded the motion, and the motion was unanimously carried with Directors Bryant, Freschi, Haight, Pharris and Rickerl voting yes.
GENERAL MANAGER REPORT
General Manager Vilander summarized the status of Board Committee and management matters as agendized for the month of May. Highlighted items included an update on the drought situation. Director Haight asked for specific data related to the drought.
FINANCIAL REPORT
Following presentation of the financial report by Ann Michel, Director of Finance and Administration, it was moved (Director Haight), seconded (Director Rickerl), and unanimously carried with Directors Bryant, Rickerl, Pharris, Haight and Freschi voting yes to approve the disbursements in the amount of $731,481.41.
WATER REPORT
Ann Michel, Director of Finance and Administration, presented the water report. The water report was received and filed. It was then moved (Director Rickerl), seconded (Director Haight) and unanimously carried with Directors Bryant, Rickerl, Pharris, Haight and Freschi voting yes to receive and file the water report.
MEETING WITH ORANGE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
General Manager Vilander reported on a meeting recently held with representatives from the Orange Unified School District in which they agreed to comply with the State mandate of 36% reduction.
UPDATE ON PUBLIC HEARING STATUS
Discussion revolved around the penalty funds. Records will be kept to account for what these funds are being used for specifically.

DIRECTOR COMMENTS AND REPORTS
Director Haight remarked that he had observed watering on the median grass area at Lemon and Santiago. General Manager Vilander will follow up with the City of Villa Park.

The meeting was formally adjourned at 9:50 a.m. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2015 @ 8:30 a.m. at the District office.
